Latin American specialist Contours Travel is running back-to-back Photography Tours of Peru and Patagonia in October and November 2009, following the success of the 2008 overland trips.

Our tour of Peru takes us through the country’s most breath-taking landscapes. Visit the Sacred Valley of the Incas and the ancient city of Machu Picchu; Lake Titicaca’s serene floating islands; the Colca Canyon and its majestic condors; and the country’s capital, Lima, with its eclectic mix of colonial and modern architecture.

With an expert local photographer on hand to help you achieve the perfect shot, you will come away with some magnificent images of this beautiful country. Our Patagonian adventure winds through some of the most remote and rugged parts of the world, with all travel in a private mini-van and escorted by a professional photographic guide and local tour leader.

Highlights include the spectacular light and colour of the Chacabuco Valley, the vast landscapes of the Argentine pampas and the dramatic mastiffs of Mt. Fitzroy and Torres del Paine National Park. This adventurous itinerary requires commitment and hard work, but you will be rewarded with truly sublime photos! Both tours have a maximum of 10 participants.
